Copernica has all the hallmarks of a levitating floor lamp. Balanced and stylish, its bold design makes for a light atmosphere and provides ideal light for a sitting area or bedroom.
A modern floor lamp in metal and aluminium
The designers at the Ramírez y Carrillo studio have created the Copernica floor lamp for the Spanish lighting brand Marset. The structure of the luminaire is in graphite, the counterweight in lacquered steel and the tilting diffuser in lacquered aluminium. The latter incorporates a dimmer with 3 positions. Copernica skilfully blends 2 straight arms and 2 sleek geometric shapes at the ends to create a very gentle effect. Evoking a levitating structure, the materials and colours combine to create a perfect balance, with the angle of the beam of light changing at will and with great fluidity.
A functional, top-of-the-range floor lamp, available in 3 versions
The Copernica dimmable floor lamp is 130 cm high. The horizontally-fixed arm is 104.6 cm long, with a 7.5 cm diameter half-sphere at one end and a 12 cm diameter half-sphere at the other, containing the LED bulb. The base of the floor lamp measures 32 cm in diameter and is connected to a 2-metre black cable. You can choose from 3 versions to make the most of this exceptional luminaire:
