Paulistano outdoor armchair

Basically, a "paulistano" is a native of Sao Paulo. This design and elegant armchair bearing its name perfectly. Indeed, designed in 1958 in Brazil, the clean lines of this chair reflects the spirit of São Paulo and motion designer at the time, which included Paulo Mendes de la Rocha, very attached to the idea of designing in simple forms and materials that reflect a certain ethic.

Objekto had the wonderful idea to manufacture this little masterpiece of design up to date by reediting his leather version chainmail Outdoor, Cotton.

Made with a structure in one piece carbon steel painted black or white (with white tissu only), the seat is created in France in Vosges canvas, a piece of cotton of a very good quality. This woven fabric is treated against moisture, UV and putrefaction thus making perfectly resistant to the vagaries of time and adapted to the outside.
